Michael Lee Bushnell, PhD Recognized for Achievements in Engineering

PRINCETON JUNCTION, NJ, August 3, 2021, Michael Lee Bushnell, PhD has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. Dr. Bushnell is a professor emeritus at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey and chief technological officer at Spectral Design and Test Inc. He has accrued over 40 years of experience in engineering. He began his career in 1974, at which point he was employed as an associate engineer in the design automation department of Honeywell Information Systems. Thereafter, he excelled as a senior systems programmer, a technical staff member of advanced system development and as a professor of electrical and computer engineering.

Dr. Bushnell is an expert in computer programming in a number of languages in high-technology fields. In his role as a chief technological officer, he is responsible for designing large scale integrative circuits and testing and synthesizing them. Renowned for his expertise, he has written over 100 papers and publications regarding computer programming and engineering. Likewise, he has been invited to speak and present at more than 55 presentations at universities, conferences and corporations.

Notably, Dr. Bushnell holds eight United States patents and two European patents, with one extra patent currently pending. He has been the recipient of numerous fellowships and holds a doctorate degree in electrical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. Moreover, he obtained a master’s degree in computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a member of the All Saint’s Episcopal Church in Princeton, New Jersey.

As a testament to his inimitable achievements and contributions in his field, Dr. Bushnell has been the recipient of a myriad of accolades. He was selected as a leading academic and industrial researcher by Top 100 Magazine and earned several awards for his papers, including for “An Area Efficient Mixed-Signal Test Architecture for Systems-on-a-Chip” and “New Graphical I_DDQ Signatures Reduce Defect Level and Yield Loss.” He is a lifetime fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and a member of the Computer Society, the Circuits and Systems Society and the Association for Computing Machinery.
